Mobile Chassis Mechanic | Tampa, FL

Davey Tree, a national leader in tree care and arboriculture services throughout the US & Canada is seeking a Mobile Chassis Mechanic  for the Tampa, FL area.

 

Job description: This position is for a  Mobile Chassis Mechanic for mid-size trucks. A company truck, phone, and computer is provided, but the mechanic would need his own hand tools.

Job duties:

Maintenance/repair and other mechanical work on company's equipment.

Equipment includes gas/diesel medium and heavy duty trucks, aerials and chippers used in Utility tree care operations.

Full-time, 1st shift position

Hours 7:00 am to 5:00 pm-start & end times may vary

50 hours per week is expected M-F/ 60 hours is available  

Requirements:

Experience in truck mechanical repairs, diesel engines and hydraulics—minimum 2 years.

Preferred experience with bucket trucks and other lift manufacturers; annual inspections, diagnosis and repair, welding and fabrication--all a plus. Additional training will be provided where needed.  Valid driver's license with Class B/CDL w/air brakes will be required. Must have own hand tools.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Full time hourly position. Compensation based on qualifications and experience.
