Various regular jobs performed by a carpenter also include tasks such as building floor beams, walls, installing partitions, installing suspended ceilings, erecting prefabricated roof trusses, building and installing platforms, operating basic cutting equipment, and operating various power tools.

Talking of the job of a carpenter, there are no educational requirements, as in this field importance is given to the skill of an individual as compared to academic background. There are many companies that prefer hiring employees that have a high school diploma, at least.
