Blue Collar jobs require a lot of manual labor, which is why they are generally more suited for men than women. Take construction jobs, for example. How many women do you see working on construction sites? Same goes for truck drivers, manufacturers, miners, etc. This is why the vast majority of Blue Collar workers are men, and that is how it should be. Women simply would not do as good.

Blue Collar work should be left for the men. Women should focus on other career paths and leave this manual jobs for those built to fulfill them. Your average Blue Collar worker undergoes a large amount of physical labor on a daily basis, which can be hard on the muscles and back. Women aren't built for this and shouldn't be putting their health on the line for a simple Blue Collar job.

The workforce has seen a surge of women trying to prove to men that they can do what the men can do. This has spawned a lot of attitude and competition between the sexes. Men verses women in the workplace. Most men do not mind women in the workplace and do not really think anything of it. They have male and female co-workers and that is the long and the short of it. However, there are women who are constantly out to prove themselves and go overboard in a lot of areas that just end up getting in the way and making the workplace a more stressful environment. Men would rather just let things go, if women want to work, let them work, etc. We do not care about who can do the job better between sexes and even if a particular woman does do that job better, it doesn't speak for her entire gender. It would not speak for the male gender if we take the top seat. It simply reflects one's personal efforts to achieve that position.

With Blue Collar work, there is little room for such trivial competitions. If women choose to perform manual labor on a day-to-day basis, they should simply become part of the workforce instead of trying to prove that they can do the job better than any man. That is a ridiculous and counter productive attitude that does not bode well with Blue Collar workers. Blue Collar jobs are usually filled with people who simply want a regular paycheck and do not really care about competition. If they did, they would be competing with all the other White Collar workers for various corporate positions. There are not very many promotional possibilities with Blue Collar jobs, so most Blue Collar workers go through the motions of another day at work and then go home to their hobbies and loved ones. They do manual labor as a means to an end. However, this seems to be rarely the case for women. They always have to prove that they can do it better and that is why they belong in the workplace. It is a ridiculous situation they create, but that does not change their motivation and reasoning.

There are good things that come of competition. If there's a female miner or construction worker who's out to prove that she can mine or build anything better and faster than her male co-worker then there might be a few workers who step it up and work harder for a little while. They might contest her challenge and put a little more muscle into the grind. They might actually end up building or mining faster than usual and accomplish more in the process. So there are benefits to having such a competition.

It is an inescapable fact, however, that women do not just enter the workforce. They charge in with all the headstrong recklessness they can muster. Many will cut whatever corners they can to take themselves to the top. Many will sleep their way to the top. You cannot completely avoid this issue, especially in Blue Collar labor. Blue Collar workers generally have a little less of a competitive edge about them, which means they are usually a little more relaxed about morals and standards. So if there's a woman around, they might all secretly trying to get her to sleep with them. This is definitely counter productive and can be very disastrous. Next thing you know, there are lawsuits for sexual harassment or worse, and that company's production comes to a halt because of it. In this, women make the workplace a little more distracting for these men and cause a stir and a raucous.

Women who sleep with their boss to get a promotion rob the rightful candidate for that job. There might be someone who truly deserves the promotion, and it is taken away from them because their female co-worker crawled into bed with her boss and coerced him into giving her the position. This is a dangerous obstacle, which is thrown into play when you introduce women into the workplace. It does not mean that we should not let women in the workplace, but it just means we should expect some foul play because of it and should be prepared to take action against it.

When it comes to Blue Collar jobs, men fit the bill a lot better due to their rough nature and physical strength. There are women who can do just as good of a job, but there are more men than women, who are qualified for these jobs. Since these jobs do not require a lot of intellectual skills, most women don't seem to mind that most of these jobs are filled by men. Some join them and enjoy being surrounded by the guys, while others just leave those jobs for men to take care of.
