Automotive Jobs description
The automotive professional tinkers with auto parts for designing, repairing or modifying them on a part time basis. The automotive professionals inspect, maintain, and repair automobiles and light trucks that run on gasoline, electricity, or alternative fuels. The increasing sophistication of automobiles requires workers who can use computerized shop equipment though traditional hand tools cannot be replaced. As a result, the automotive professionals are now usually called technicians rather than mechanics. The automotive professional tests and lubricates engines and other major components. Sometimes they repair or replace worn parts before they cause breakdowns or damage the vehicle. They usually follow a checklist to ensure that they examine every critical part.The automotive job candidates for this position should at least be a diploma holder or a graduate in automobile engineering. The candidate should be experienced enough working in a auto showroom for about 1-2 years before venturing out professionally.
