The key responsibilities of a blue collar supervisor consist of reviewing product and process issues, reviewing System Assurance startup and in process check sheets,
reviewing SA/QA log book, reviewing e-mails and phone calls with replies as necessary and reviewing of gage graphs.

A blue collar supervisor is responsible for training and schedule training for QA auditors which includes procedures, work instructions and Quality Documentation, providing inspection tools needed by auditors and tracking and ordering supplies or maintenance needed for QA/SA, reviewing and communicating Quality reports and information and generating DOS information and graphs on regular basis.

The position of a blue collar supervisor also involves reviewing and troubleshooting data, maintaining and reviewing Lab Testing reports and sending samples to other operations or plants as well as maintaining and tracking process books, deviation log, alert notice log and documenting and updating the same on regular basis, writing and submitting Nonconforming Product Notices and performing internal audits of other plants and departments.
