Entry Level Jobs description
An entry-level blue collar job can be found in every industry and includes positions such as that of a carpenter, housekeeper, machinist, service technician, electrician, and welder. Responsibilities for an entry-level job varies depending on job type, and is mostly an assistant position. An entry-level blue collar job may often be found in a retail/ sales environment. The job may require selling of products or services to retails customers. An entry-level blue collar job generally requires physical work and may involve standing, stooping, and walking.A high school diploma or a GED in progress is an advantage for an entry-level blue collar job. However skills at particular tasks can prove an advantage. A trainee position with a company would be a help. Good aptitude and analytical skills may be essential for some positions. Strong customer service and selling skills are essential for most entry-level blue collar jobs.
