PACKAGING OPERATOR TEAM LEADSummary:Team Lead must have all Departmental Core SOP’s, Equipment SOP's, & Job Skill Training (JST) completed. Can accurately execute and document task on the Packaging Batch Record (PBR). Can accurately perform and document In Process Line Audits.  Can create a PI sheet, stage, consume, & return packaging components in SAP. The Team Lead is required to possess an intrinsic knowledge over a wide range of responsibilities and processes, including - Set up, Operation, Cleaning, & Troubleshooting of Packaging Lines 1, 3, 7, & 9. Also, is proficient at setting up and operating the Optel Serialization Systems. Successfully completed the “Train the Trainer” program. Practice proper work safety and have good documentation, and no product loss incidents. The position will require the ability to prioritize tasks, set daily goals, and assign work to employees to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner.A Packaging Operator-Team Lead will ensure all activities are completed in an efficient and timely manner by prioritizing, set daily goals, and assigning tasks to employees. Display a charismatic and pleasant demeanor.Responsibilities:Serves as the Trainer / Subject Matter Expert (SME) on equipment set up/ startup/ ending processing/ SAP trouble-shooter.Can accurately perform Checked By/Date and give the OK to Fill on the Packaging Batch Record (PBR).Act as a first responder to serialization questions and issues.Strives to achieve daily packaging goals & attainment.Practice proper work safety, have good documentation, and no product loss incidents.Capable of starting and ending a batch in Optel Line Master (Primary & Secondary Areas).Capable of sampling Bottle, Bundle, Re-shipper Labels, and Quality Control (QC) Samples using the Optel Serialization System.Capable of checking the status of a Bottle, bundles, or Re-Shipper using the hand scanner to access Optel EPC Viewer.Capable of recommissioning bottles that are not destroyed using the Optel system.Act as a first responder to serialization questions and issues.Serves as the expert/trainer on the Packaging Lines 1, 3, 7 & 9 – Bottle Descrambler, Capper, Induction Sealer, Re-torquer, & Bundler.Serves as the expert/trainer on disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, troubleshooting and obtaining/maintaining accurate yet optimal speed of the Packaging Fillers - Lines 7, 9 (Cremer CF-622), 1, & 3 - (Two Head Cremer Filler).Accurate SAP transactions, & Validation execution.Serves as the expert/trainer on Labelers, Optel Label Vision Systems - Pharma Proof Vision Systems (Optel Tracksafe systems 1 through 4), Line Master, Video Jet Data Flex Printer, Video Jet Inkjet & Laser Printers, Bottle/Bundle Tracker and Labeling/Vision/Serialization Equipment.Team Lead must confirm the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is completed at the end of each packaging process.Serves as the expert/trainer on disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, troubleshooting and obtaining/maintaining accurate yet optimal speed of the Packaging Fillers - Lines 7, 9 (Cremer CF-622), 1, & 3 - (Two Head Cremer Filler).Accurate SAP transactions, & Validation execution.Serves as the expert/trainer on Labelers, Optel Label Vision Systems - Pharma Proof Vision Systems (Optel Tracksafe systems 1 through 4), Line Master, Video Jet Data Flex Printer, Video Jet Inkjet & Laser Printers, Bottle/Bundle Tracker and Labeling/Vision/Serialization Equipment.Team Lead must confirm the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is completed at the end of each packaging process.Prioritize tasks, set daily goals, and assign work to employees to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner.Communicate daily goals with the support group; ensuring all materials and components are staged for packaging.Can effectively communicate tasks and responsibilities across all packaging lines – primary & secondaryCan accurately complete shift pass down and OEE set up, run, & cleaning times in the database. Can accurately execute and document task on the Packaging Batch Record (PBR).Can accurately perform and document In Process Line Audit Checks.Can accurately perform Checked By on Packaging Batch Record (PBR) and In Process Audit Checks.Can create a PI sheet, stage, consume, & return packaging components in SAP.Education/Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED requiredCandidate will have a least 2-year experience working on the Packaging Lines. The Candidate will be mentored and coached by a Leader (Group Lead or Supervisor) on job responsibilities for a minimum of 3 months.Must be able to adapt to changing tasks and schedules.Must have working knowledge of all packaging equipment and serialization process.Must be familar with cGMP’s, SOP’s, Training Modules (Train the Trainer), and Safety Procedures.Must be detail oriented for accuracy.Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, challenge, and drive to succeed.
