This position starts at $14.55/hr. with a shift differential for second and overtime.

Position Description:

Position is responsible for operating production machine equipment such as Blenders, Cookers, Fryers, Mixers, and Packing Machines and other equipment as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsibilities:

• Operate assigned production equipment per product specifications

• Interpret daily production schedule

• Perform troubleshooting and preventing maintenance

• Follow department standards

• Read job specifications to determine equipment adjustments and material requirements

• Compile and record production data utilized to prepare records and reports on volume of production

• Prepare equipment for productions and test runs

• Operate and observe equipment operation to detect work piece defects or equipment malfunction, and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy

• Ensure work area is clean at all time

• Record keeping and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds repeatedly during shift

• Must stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day

• Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40-75 degrees on a routine basis.

• Must work in wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas.

• Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, and pinching.

• Use of Personal Protective Equipment

• Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification.

• Knowledge of basic food processing compliance, FDA, USDA, and EPA is preferred.

• Must be able to work overtime and weekends, and other duties as assigned by Management.
