Job Details:

With minimal supervision provides industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of a state of the art, team based and highly automated meat processing facility located in Kansas City, KS. The Maintenance Technician-Refrigeration, safely operates and performs a variety of maintenance activities including corrective maintenance (MC), Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive maintenance (PdM) for various industrial systems including but not limited to plant utilities, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, steam, water, gas, waste water, compressed air, and building systems. Must be able to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned facility systems and the ability to effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to lift, push, or carry up to 50lbs. Must be willing and able to stand, bend, reach overhead, and twist for long periods of time. Must be able to stand 8-12 hours a day on hard floor. Must have a minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months Must have PSM Experience.
