This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex first.

PURPOSE:

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all assigned equipment within the Loadout, Farms and Hauling Departments. Meet on a daily basis with the Properties Manager to determine the scheduling of maintenance and repairs needed within the Departments above. Responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of the turkey loaders and trucks on a daily basis. This person must be flexible in his duties to include the loading of turkeys when help is needed due to absence, sickness or vacation of the loaders. Other related duties may be assigned by Manager.

LIST OF SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Maintain the shop according to the Corporate safety guidelines. Follow equipment preventative maintenance program. Maintain buildings and grounds. Maintain and monitor parts and filter inventory. Maintain records on all repairs for loaders, trucks and all other related equipment.

KEY MEASURABLE RESULTS:

No downtime due to lack of preventative maintenance. Cost reduction of major repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Attendance 4 points or less for internal candidates Must be mechanically inclined. Must have a valid drivers license and be familiar with all farms. Must be able to maintain vehicles, loaders and power packs. Must be able to keep accurate records. Bi-lingual beneficial. Must be adept at using welder and cutting torch. Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a frequent basis Driving record must be consistent with Sara Lee Fleet Safety guidelines. Must be forklift qualified or able to achieve qualification within a reasonable time. Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management and have good interpersonal skills.
