Shipping Yard CDL Driver 2nd Shift - Hope AR

Job Description

This position is responsible for moving trailers to the correct dock according to information given by the office clerk or the shipping supervisor. The Driver will also park trailers in the yard to wait for truck drivers to take them to their final destination.

Job Requirements

Current and valid Class A CDL driver's license from state of residence.

No DUI/DWI conviction within past 8 years and none in CMV

Must be able to drive a Class 8 tractor.

At least 21 years old

No felony convictions in past 8 years

No DOT Drug and Alcohol violations in past 3 years

Must meet all requirements under the Tyson Foods qualification for CMV.

Must conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Must fill trailers with diesel to run refrigeration unit.

Must be able to back trailers efficiently and effectively.

Must be able to keep track of trailer numbers.

Must be able to work 8 to 12 hour shifts.

Must be able to work weekends when necessary.

Must be able to work in cold and hot temperatures.

Must be able to work outside in all conditions.
