Tasks

Responsible for shipping and receiving product with the use of a forklift. Complete paperwork. Moving product from pack out to the freezer/cooler. Manifesting product for storage or shipment. Loading and unloading trucks. Checking fuel and temperature of loaded trailers. Keeps shipping dock, pallet dock, outside loading dock cleaned. Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Must be able to perform all job duties to standard within 20 days. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends. Must be able to work in a cold & wet environment. Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must observe all required hygiene and safety procedures at all times. Job requires bending, lifting, twisting, & turning. Must be certified or able to certify on pallet jack and/or forklift. Must have good math skills to keep track of inventory levels. Must be able to take accurate inventories when necessary. Disqualifiers: 1) No written warning within the previous 6 months. 2) Cannot have 5 or more attendance points at time of bid. 3) Completion of 6 months on previous successful bid if it was not for a higher classification (i.e. lateral, downward move or self-disqualification.), no written warnings last 6 months, no written suspensions last 12 months, must not be on LOA. If on probation, must not have any absences.
