Essential Functions:Performs routine operation of assigned Swiss machine(s), including start-up and shutdown. Loads raw material into bar feeder and adjusts to machine.Performs first article inspections as assigned or necessary.Keeps machine running throughout shift, while monitoring product quality through regular inspection intervals.Performs routine Swiss machine maintenance.Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.Ensures that all documentation is in order (part number, revision, etc.) and is kept at the workstation. Enters data on production documents regarding quantity produced, hours worked, etc.Follows directions on correctly handling and operating Swiss machines.Produces required quantity of parts required per work order.Works on different types of equipment to carry out a particular phase of the production cycle.Produces parts within required tolerances.Follows all safety rules regarding Swiss machine operation and proper guarding.Maintains simple reports on work orders handled and quantities produced.Maintains work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition.Detects and reports faulty equipment, defective material and any unusual conditions to the department supervisor or lead.Performs other duties as required or directed by management.\u00A0Education and Experience:Minimum one (1) year experience operating Swiss CNC machines.Pay Range: $17-$20.00p/hr
