Pool Attendant Jobs
The responsibilities of a blue collar pool attendant consist of inspecting and maintaining the swimming pool, deck, mechanical equipment for ensuring their suitability for safe operations and identifying necessary repairs, evaluating equipment function for the purpose of maintaining facilities and ensuring its compliance with mandated health requirements, maintaining proper chemical and PH rate for the purpose of complying with mandated safety and health requirements and assisting in maintaining swimming pool equipment i.e. backwashing filters, pump equipment, etc. for the purpose of ensuring that the equipment is in proper working condition. A blue collar pool attendant is responsible for maintaining records for the purpose of providing an up-to-date reference trail that complies with mandated requirements, preparing purchase orders for the purpose of securing needed supplies and stocking chemicals and other supplies for the purpose of maintaining adequate quantities and security of items.
The candidate has to arrive ten minutes prior to the commencement of the shift and complete the opening duties checklist. Any combination equivalent to High School diploma or equivalent and experience in the operation and maintenance of swimming pools is required for the position of a blue collar pool attendant.
